About Christina Ellwood

Christina Ellwood is a principal partner of Donley Townsend Associates, LLC and manages the San Francisco office for the firm.

She is a seasoned corporate executive and entrepreneur with more than 20 years experience in the technology industry and a successful track record in marketing, business strategy, and partner and business development. She’s held leadership positions in start-ups and global enterprises in the telecom, datacom, services, software infrastructure, and scientific instrumentation markets.

Prior to her search work at Donley Townsend Associates, Christina founded Moreland Associates, a strategy, marketing and business development consulting firm. Before that, she was founder, President and CEO of OfficePlease, Inc., an intranet software company and ASP and continues to serve as the Chairman for the OfficePlease Foundation. Previously, she was VP of Marketing for Sentient Networks until their acquisition by Cisco Systems, and served as director of carrier development and marketing at Premisys, which was later acquired by Zhone. Prior to Premisys, she held business development and marketing positions with N.E.T. and Kevex Instruments.

Christina is very results oriented and the focus of her search work supports the financial and private investment community and emerging technology companies. She has contributed to the development and implementation of successful business venture growth and development.

Christina did her undergraduate work at Bowling Green State University in Chemistry and Biology and completed the Telecommunications Engineering certificate program at UC Berkeley Extension. Christina is on the technical advisory boards of several fledgling technology start-ups and volunteers as a speaker for organizations that encourage entrepreneurship. Christina has assisted fellow entrepreneurs to found, fund and operate non-profit foundations after launching the OfficePlease Foundation (OPF) in 2000. Christina publishes a monthly newsletter, TractionNOW!, for entrepreneurs and investors.
